What cookies we use

We use a small number of cookies, each for a specific purpose:

NEXT_LOCALE — remembers whether you're browsing in English or Finnish. This is strictly functional and doesn't require your consent. It's kept for about a year.

_ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics) — help us understand how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful, so we can improve it. These are only set if you accept analytics cookies below, and are kept for up to 13 months.

cookie_consent — remembers your choice about analytics cookies, so we don't ask you again on every visit. Kept for about 6 months, after which we'll ask again.

Analytics is off until you say yes

Google Analytics is never loaded when you first arrive on the site. It only starts once you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", or close the banner without choosing, Analytics stays off.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the button below. This clears your previous choice and shows the cookie banner again on your next page view.
